CIVIS Language Cafes

As part of the European CIVIS alliance, Stockholm University invites students and staff from partner universities to participate in Language Cafes, informal gathering spaces dedicated to practicing foreign languages.

Held online (via Zoom) or on the Stockholm University campus, the Language Cafes provide an opportunity to converse with native speakers and other learners in a relaxed atmosphere. The goal is to foster authentic exchanges to develop language skills, speaking confidence, and intercultural understanding.

Participation is free and open throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. The languages offered and the schedule are subject to change; therefore, it is recommended that you regularly check the program and registration information on the University of Stockholm’s Language Cafes page.
