DELF/DALF
(Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française / Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française)

DELF and DALF are official certifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the French language skills of foreign candidates. They cover levels A1 to C2 of the CEFR and are valid for life.
The exam includes listening comprehension, reading comprehension, written expression, and speaking (assessed face-to-face with an examiner). It takes place on paper at the Alliance Française Brussels - Europe, and results are available within 2 to 4 weeks.

TEF (Test d'Évaluation de Français)

The TEF is a French language proficiency certification for non-native speakers, designed for professional and academic environments, covering beginner to advanced levels (A2 to C1 on the CEFR).
The speaking and writing sections are conducted face-to-face with an examiner, while listening and reading comprehension are computer-based. Results are available within 2 to 3 weeks after the exam.
