Language Boost: Learn Differently
ULB Langues invites the entire university community to enhance their language skills through its new self-directed learning project.
During these 6 weeks, you'll have the opportunity to challenge yourself, meet people from diverse backgrounds, and learn at your own pace. Bon voyage!
What is Language Boost?
A blend of traditional classes and self-directed language immersion! For 6 weeks, you will learn, practice, and strengthen your language skills through a program you design yourself. It will include group activities, personalized coaching sessions, writing workshops, and other activities tailored to your needs. Grammar, speaking, applications, role-playing, cultural outings, and more will help you build on your existing skills. You can choose between English, French, or Dutch. To ensure a smooth journey, you will be guided and supported by a ULB Langues coach.
Who is it for?
Teachers, staff, and students are all welcome to participate. Only complete beginners might find it challenging, as the project aims to enhance existing skills rather than start from scratch.
When?
Language Boost is organized multiple times throughout the academic year for French, Dutch, and English.
The program for each Boost session and its modules (activities, resources, documents, tools) are hosted on the Virtual University. You will need to self-enroll/subscribe to the course to access all the content.
